As part of a lobby refresh at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in downtown Saint Paul, Welsh Construction built-out a space for Rival House Sporting Parlour.

Welsh relocated several “back of house” areas to make room for the new 100-seat restaurant, and added an additional entrance off of Minnesota Street.

The open kitchen features a wood-fire brick oven for the restaurant’s signature artisanal pizzas. In the bar area, the draft beer system has 24 taps to accommodate the restaurant’s craft beer focused drink menu.

The restaurant’s “sporting parlour” includes numerous games, including skee-ball, ping pong, and bubble hockey.
