WHO WE ARE

The Twin Cities Pioneer Press was looking to move the premier newspaper offices from an older existing location they had sold, to a new location in downtown St. Paul that fit their bustling, modern work environment. Welsh Construction was brought in for the build-out, which consisted of a large lobby area on the first floor and the entire seventh floor. The team was dedicated to aesthetics, work flow and employee comfort. Challenged with a tight timeline, the teams had constant communication throughout the project. Welsh coordinated various stages of the project, including the client’s furniture team. The finished product displays numerous historical artifacts from St. Paul and the State of Minnesota, such as old printing plates, Xcel Energy Center seats and vintage signs.
