After steady growth for a number of years, Dr. John Allan Ness of Ness Plastic Surgery wanted to expand his business to offer more medical spa services and an accredited on-site surgical suite to improve the plastic surgery experience for his patients. After working with Colin Ryan of Colliers International to find an existing building in Wayzata, the Welsh Construction team was brought on-board to give the building a much needed makeover.

The 2-story office building, which had been vacant for three years, received cosmetic updates and changes to make it suitable for medical use. The renovation modified the building to include a plastic surgery clinic, cosmetic surgical center with complete operating room, and two additional office suites to be leased out for medical use. The elevator was enlarged and upgraded; the front facade of the building was recreated with new windows, sunscreen, and IPE wood siding; and all stairs within the building were replaced.
