Welsh Construction (Welsh) is seeking a professional, detailed, self-driven Controller with 8+ years of commercial construction experience. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of important and valued roles and responsibilities, and also be a part of the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership Roles:
-
Monthly financial reporting and analysis
-
Monthly G/L reconciliations
-
Payroll and HR processing/compliance
-
Annual audit and tax preparation
-
Corporate insurance
2. Project Accounting:
Project Start Strong:
-
Prepare and attend all new project start strong meetings with the entire Welsh project team.
Stay Strong:

Review and approve job costs within the electronic A/P workflow and imaging system.

Prepare monthly construction project billings in accordance with the contract terms.

Work with project managers to reforecast construction projects.

Work closely with the project team, including Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Superintendent

Be responsible for timely cash flow for each construction project assigned.
FINISH STRONG:

Finalize the construction project billing.

Proactively ensure all closeout documents are provided for the customer and financial partners.
